Hello,
This is just one of maybe many tips of playing a more sim type game. Not to start a sim/non-sim/cheese argument. Just here to help people that are trying to start playing sim. This is coming from a person that hated all the sim talk back on 2K8 but slowly converted to sim style play and now can't play any other way.
Here is a tip for playing on-ball D:
Do not press on the player. Always play a step or two off of the player. This way they can't just shake you with a glitchy dribble or a spin, they will just bump into you if you are skilled at moving from side to side. Always remember don't focus too much on a block, granted it is good but it is just as good to contest the shot properly.
Thanks and good luck...
