    NBA 2K12 My Player Discussion

    -reserved this thread-

Anyone who has it can start talking about it/questioning etc etc here.

I'll get it very soon and try to get as much info on it as possible.

Last year I made a big mistake of spending my first week trying to build up speed and quickness. And then someone posted to build an athletic guard cuz speed and quickness were already built up (costs too much to build up). Any opening tips to get starte on the right foot?

I don't have it yet. But I would quickly assume that you can easily choose the Scoring or 3 PT specialist. Because those two have pretty good (80+) stats in Shot med and Shot 3 PT. So that'll definitely help you.

Get shot med up to at least a 90 and then get your shoot off dribble/in traffic up as well and layup.

My Player is better this year. I'd still build an athletic player because they cost so damn much. But lock on D is a lot harder this year. Sometimes my guy just runs around me with no contact, and your team mates pass less

From what I have heard from my friends. Passing is A LOT harder than 2K11 which I really like. It's a bitter sweet sort of thing. I like how you have try and pin point the pass more and you have to actually TRY to make sure that the pass is good.

Not only that but the sweet part is that it gives the game such a more realistic feel to it.

Has anyone else's myplayer team traded away most of the players? I'm half way through my rookie year and my team is totally different.

Yeah happend to me, got drafted by trail blazers and I am the only one left from the original team. Now have starting lineup: Mo Williams, Eric Gordon, Me, Kevin Love, Carlos Boozer (at center which I think is stooooooopid!)

Hey, just joined this forum and have a question about MyPlayer 2K12.

    How do I simulate games?

I really don't want to play all 82 games or all the key games (~ 20 maybe) in a season, because a quarter is limited to 5 minutes. In 2K11 you could play 1 minute quarters for example, 2K12 the lowest is 5 minutes. I just want to get to the playoffs asap.

edit: This is for offline gaming at the moment.

You have to play when you are sent into play.
