i know this is a defensive d thread, but can you explain the offensive tempo sliders? as in, when do i need to adjust those.
good question...although i personaly like to keep them as is, just because its a game and i like to play it out how i play...but adjusting temp is good for if your down or if your up...example, if your up 6 points with 2min in the 4th....slowing things down will obviously be to your advantage...so by making the adjustments with your tempo, you'll be mroe succsfull getting open looks, making baskets in a slow half court set type game....if your getting blown out, your going to want to play a fast tempo game, and you'll get better looks quickly, with guys cutting to the hoop more, and things like that...also if you can get your opp to play at your tempo vs. theres you'll be much more dominate throughout the game...

Should you have your D Press up at 80-90% and matchups at tight also?

Does that give you anymore defensive advantage?

I played an online game and jacked my DPressure up and put the matchup on tight and the offensive guy kept getting open.

Very helpful tips. I have found success with low defensive pressure and now it's a lot tougher to go in the paint against me.

I could still use some help though to stop the likes of Amare. When he is on, he hits those turn arounds and fade aways even when I get a hand in his face. I have noticed though that just getting another defender on him really tight when he goes to his move usually results in a miss although I have one less rebounder...classic catch 22.

Also, the up and under post moves can be stopped this same way. Just run up with a second defender and they don't even need to leave their feet if you time it right.

When do you call the 1-3-1 d, when the ball is taken out or when the team cross's half court. When I call it at half court my men get beat because they are fallin back into the zone.
